Kids’ Baseball Class Report
On Saturday, December 7, 2013, a Kids’ Baseball Class was held at the Chiba Lotte Marines’ indoor practice facility in Chiba, Japan. The instructors for the day were top players from Japanese pro-baseball team, the Chiba Lotte Marines: G.G. Sato, Yuki Karakawa, and Takahiro Fujioka.
AM09:45 Assembly & warm-ups
The baseball class was held at Chiba Lotte Marines’ indoor practice facility, which is very spacious and well-maintained. Its construction was completed in 2012.
Everyone freely did their warm-ups.
AM10:00 Online game safety quiz
Can they all correctly answer the Y/N quiz on playing online games safely?

AM10:30 Baseball class
G.G. Sato gave instructions for the batting section. He encouraged the kids, saying, “Everyone has the chance to become a baseball player. Please keep up your good work.”
Yuki Karakawa gave instructions for the pitching section. He spoke to the kids on the same level as them, saying, “I am looking forward to playing baseball with you in the future.”
Takahiro Fujioka gave instructions for the fielding section. He gave advice to the kids, “I want you to take what you learn today and build on it going forward.”
